Permian has recently reaffirmed its membership to the Department of Human Services Panel for Office System Software Development Services. November 2002 - Permian Presents HLA Seminar at CSSIP

With it's expertise in simulation and particularly the High Level Architecture (HLA), Permian has presented a public seminar at the Cooperative Research Centre for Sensor Signal and Information Processing (CSSIP) in Adelaide. It was attended by more than 50 participants from industry, government and academia.

October 2002 - JORN Detection and Tracking Trials

A number of Permian staff worked in key roles alongside RLM and Commonwealth during the successful JORN Detection and Tracking Trials directed from the JORN Coordination Centre in Adelaide.

Due to our continuing growth we have expanded our Melbourne office, taking over the suite next door to our existing office. The reception remains unchanged and is accessed through the Suite 5 entrance.

May 2002 - Appointment to SDIP Panel

Permian, partnered with Clough, has been accepted as a member of the Systems Design and Integration Panel.

May 2002 - Appointment to DHS Panel

Permian is now a member of the Victorian State Government Department of Human Services Panel and is working on its first software project for them.

Feb 2002 - Updates to Palantir

Updates have recently been made to our Palantir Air Defence Operations Centre product range to include support for HLA and the Open Source Flight Gear flight simulator. The new version is now available.

Sept 2001 - South Australian Branch Opened

Permian has grown. We have recently opened our first branch office. It is conveniently located in Technology Park, Adelaide, just a few minutes north of the city, and a few minutes south of DSTO-Edinburgh (formerly DSTO-Salisbury). This office has been opened to meet the needs of Defence customers in the Adelaide region, from DSTO to other Defence companies. In particular, the office is to be used as a base for performing contracting and consulting work.

Sep 2001 - Permian Participates in Windows XP Case Study

Permian has recently been participating in the Windows XP Professional and Office XP Rapid Deployment Program offered by Microsoft Australia. As a result of our success and enthusiasm with Windows XP Professional and Office XP, Permian has been chosen as one of their "Case Studies". To read the full story, read the Microsoft Case Study.

Permian has a stand at the Australian Airshow and unveils its Palantir Air Defence Operations Centre product line.

9 May 2000 - Government Endorsed Supplier

Permian is now an endorsed supplier to the government! The Endorsed Supplier Agreement scheme provides Permian with formal recognition that it conforms with required standards to supply to the Commonwealth Government.

Feb 2000 - ISO 9001

Permian has now commenced the qualification process to achieve ISO 9001 accreditation. This process will formally affirm Permian's reputation as a quality organisation.
