With a strong capability in Network Centric Warfare, SMS Defence Solutions is an active
member of DMO's Rapid Prototyping, Development and Evaluation (RPDE) program.
SMS Defence Solutions is currently supporting the Rapid Environmental Assessment (REA)
Task with responsibility for analysis of customer requirements, design and implementation
of prototype solution for rapid assessment of environmental data
(meteorological, hydrographic, oceanographic, topographical (near shore))
to improve situational awareness for operational planning purposes.
This program of work has required interaction with a number of Defence
agencies to elicit agency requirements related to the task.
